Note To New York Daily News

Who ran with this headline:
"Rep. Gabrielle Giffords' blood is on Sarah Palin's hands after putting cross hair over district"

Pistols without scopes (like the one used in the shooting) don't have crosshairs.

  1. Sounds like dafamation to me. Sarah should sue them out of business.

  2. The headline itself does have a literal base, as I did see a publication with an actual map of the U.S. with little crosshairs over certain districts. But, that is the media for you.

  3. I thought Sarah Palin flew professional hair dressers everywhere with her to fix her cross hairs.

I keep getting my media myths mixed up.

  4. Neal Boortz had the "map and cross hairs" in question on his blog with the Palin explanation that they are actually symbols for survey maps. The intent was the same, but if the media want to be accurate they should at least point this out if only to accuse her of being hypocritical. I think it was re-posted at Townhall.
