There's a Reason

From the Daily Caller:
A fact of this year’s Academy Awards has some in the entertainment and civil rights communities scratching their heads and raising their eyebrows: There are precisely zero African-Americans nominated for the coveted acting, best picture, and director Oscars.
I'll say it because no one else will:

Statistically speaking, there aren't that many academy-worthy "actors of color" (or producers or directors) in the first place, and none of 'em did anything worthwhile this year.

Reality is a harsh mistress. Deal with it.
