What Were They Thinking?

I'm guessing the thought process was, "Hey! Let's make a mega-gigantor TV, except without the convenience of a remote control!"

Mission Accomplished!

  1. To be fair, it's a huge-ass touchscreen TV. I'm sure that an enterprising person could figure out how to allow for remote control as well, this would already be helpful for presentations.

  2. Yes, a big-ass touchscreen - which means if you're doing a presentation, you have to walk up to the screen and block the audience's view of the screen to move things along.

I'm just saying that, although it looks cool, it's actually less effective, technologically speaking, than a 1950's overhead projector that uses transparencies.
