Strangely Prosey

Poet Maya Angelou said of President Obama, "he has done a remarkable job."

Oddly, she did NOT phrase her comments in the form of a poem.

Although considering the fact that she never uses meter or rhyme in any of her work, it's kinda hard to be sure.

Anyway, here's my poetic commentary on Obama:

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Can I get an Obamacare
Waiver like you?

  1. One of the most seriously over-rated people in the country. I think she is getting a real benefit of "halo effect". Once people heard she was great, they won't dare mention how pedestrian she is without looking like racist illiterate hicks.

  2. Pedestrian?

    Hardly.

The woman's so poetically crippled she needs a Hoveround scooter.

  4. To her credit, she is the only black person who noticed that the new MLK statue had misquoted MLK.

  5. I've read some of Anjelou's stuff. I'm sure she thought her comment was poetry.
