I Agree, This Should Count As a Superpower

I should know, I hand-sewed a teddy bear for my girlfriend once. Took me MONTHS.

  1. When we were first married, my Wonder Woman had a really nice Viking sewing machine that she'd not learned to use, yet.

In the 34 years since, I think she's used it three times. I used to use it constantly, back in those early years. Notsomuch in the last 15-20 years, though. It's just like any other mechanical task. Tinker with the machine (OK, one can read the manual if one must), figure it out and use it.

  2. I am tickled to be able to sew buttons on my shirts, and darn the occasional sock.

My grandmother used to make us jeans. She use the same weight denim as tent canvas, and it chafed like blazes.
