  3. Well, for this guy douchebag is a compliment. I do not remember how I learned this but the term douchebag was originated in the US Naval Academy in Annapolis. It referred to a person so useless as to be only useful to wash out the um, leavings, yeah, that's it, of a real man.

    Funny, I remember now, it was a Second John out of the Trade School that was a platoon leader if served with. He was almost ready to get that silver bar and become someone on the Battalion staff when the little people dropped a mortar round right into the little cluster of radio antennas. Instead of a promotion he joined The Order of the Shiny Aluminum Boxes. Effin' war.
