5 Minute Corn on the Cob

TEXT VERSION.

Put unshucked corn on the cob in the microwave for 5 minutes.

Cut off the end where the leaves attach.

Grab the other end and squeeze the ear of corn out.

Eat.

Yum!

  1. This really works. In the sense that you get corn on the cob that is steaming hot and ready to eat. As long as you're not fussy about texture. And flavor.

    For perfect roast corn, set your oven to the highest temp possible. Place ears of corn (unshucked)on center rack for 35 minutes.
    Remove shucks, silk.
    Butter. Salt. Perfection.

    Or use the freshly roasted ears for elotes. Yum.

  3. Husk. Place in large pot with a couple of inches of water in it. Cover. Bring to boil. Steam 5 to 7 minutes.YUM.I think I'm gonna buy more corn tomorrow.
