Fruit In Frosting?

Fresh fruit in buttercream frosting?

Could this actually work?

I tried using raspberry extract, and... maybe it's just me, but it tastes kinda... pink. Not like raspberries. Maybe I need more extract? Maybe fruit & butter don't mix?

I don't know...

    I love raspberries :)

    When I make my Raspberry Almond Kiss Cookies for Valentine's Day, I add a tablespoon or two of my homemade raspberry jam to the powdered sugar glaze. Yum.

    No raspberry extract. Use raspberries.
