For the Popcorn-Addicted

Super-fancy popcorn bowl with built-in kernel-catcher.

Less super-fancy version.

Which begs the question: is the convenience of the kernel catcher worth the bother of having to scrub the buttery gunk off it AND the bowl afterwards, as opposed to just having to wash the bowl?

  1. When I was a little girl we had a plastic one like the less super fancy version. The bottom grate came out and we put it in the dishwasher. Normally, when I'm eating a bowl of popcorn, I just shake the bowl and the more dense un-popped kernels fall to the bottom, anyway. If you're making caramel popcorn and want to make *certain* that no one breaks their teeth on an old maid, the bowl is useful to strain them out.

By the way, I LOVE popcorn. I should go make some...
